Bermuda National Trust

Paget Parish

The Bermuda National Trust isn't so much as an attraction as more of an idea. (This nonprofit organization is responsible for much of the historical preservation and renovation you see all over the islands that make up Bermuda. They oversee historical houses, gardens, and parks for the benefit of Bermuda's citizens and its tourists.) However, their offices, which are housed in an impressive eighteenth-century mansion, have sections that are open to the public. Here, in their public areas, vacationers in Bermuda can view the drawing room and

the dining room of the grand old house which was built by the Trimingham family, and has always been called Waterville. Waterville also houses the Trustworthy gift shop. Here, you can purchase handmade items and items with the Trust logo on them. To get here, go to The Lane in paget Parish. The Trust is open weekdays 9am to 5pm and the gift shop is open Monday through Saturday 10am to 4pm. Admission is free, but they accept donations.
