Christ Church
Warwick Parish
This is one of the oldest Presbytarian churches in the Western Hemisphere, and has a graveyard to go with it. The tombstones in the graveyard have interesting epitaphs that make a stroll through the headstones pleasurable and insightful. The church itself
has an old old pulpit, dating back to 1700s...Christ Church itself was built in 1719. The stained glass windows are lovely, You can visit the church by attending Sunday services. It's located opposite the Belmont Hills Golf Club, so you can round out your Sunday with church and then a round of golf before dinner. The building itself has always been a church, but for a time was an independent Presbytarian church. It now belongs to the Presbytarian Church of Scotland. You can find this piece of history and current house of worship on Middle Road in Warwick Parish.
