Hamilton

Hamilton Parish, in addition to serving as the location for Bermuda's capital, is also home to Bermuda's number one tourist sightseeing destination: the Bermuda Aquarium, Musuem & Zoo.

Flatts Village

Other than BAMZ, Flatts Village is a scenic quaint town that used to be known as a haven for smugglers and an execution place for witches but now has a much better reputation as a busy harbor village filled with yachts. The bridge over the inlet at Flatts Village is a great view, too. Flatts Village is also home to the niche-interest destination of the Railway Museum and Curiosity Shop.

Harrington Sound

Hamilton is also home to Harrington Sound, Bermuda's largest inland body of water. The Sound is surrounded by an exclusive golf course and luxury homes with gorgeous views of the water. At the northern end is Bailey's Bay, another quaint village, whose charm lies not in manmade structures and tourism spots, but rather in natural features of the land. Here you'll find Crystal Caves. and Holy Trinity Church. This is Bermuda's oldest Anglican church. It was built in 1623, and during the last three centuries has had its exterior and interier altered many many times. However, the central stucture is the same building, the original. It's one long space and still sports a thatched roof. The adjoining cemetary is wonderfully tropical, with cherry trees, royal poinciana, and palms throughout. It's only open for services. Located at Church Bay in Harrington Sound.
